Applications for things like Conditional Use Permits, Variances, Rezoning, General Development Plans, Preliminary Plats, Final Plats, etc. require a public hearing in front of the respective Township’s Planning Commission and/or Board. Those public hearings are open to the public. TPA staff prepares a report that explains and analyzes the criteria that must be met for the Planning Commission and/or Board to approve or deny an application. Typically you’ll find staff reports about a week before the public hearing. After a decision is made, staff reports are removed (recommended: manage this by moving files between Current/Archive folders in Dropbox).
