Applications for items such as Conditional Use Permits, Variances, Rezoning, General Development Plans, Preliminary Plats, Final Plats, and similar requests typically require a public hearing before the Township Planning Commission and/or Board. These hearings are open to the public. TPA staff prepares a report that summarizes the request and evaluates the approval criteria. Staff reports are usually posted about a week before the public hearing and removed after the Township has made a decision.
