Typical submittals
- A written description of the work and where it will occur on the property
- Parcel identification and site address
- A site sketch or plan showing the activity area
- Photos, grading details, road information, or other supporting documents when applicable
Driveway / Access
Use this for new access points, relocated access points, or significant driveway changes.
- Identify whether the road is a township, county, or state road
- Show the proposed location on a sketch or aerial image
- Additional road authority approval may be required
Grading / Excavation / Fill / Major Clearing
Use this for earthwork, site reshaping, imported fill, or large-scale land disturbance.
- Describe the work area and estimated extent of disturbance
- Provide a plan or sketch if available
- Stormwater, erosion control, or other reviews may also apply
Shoreland Work / Retaining Wall / Riprap
Use this for shoreline stabilization, retaining walls, riprap, or similar work near water features.
- Show the shoreline edge, existing conditions, and proposed work
- Include photos and dimensions when possible
- Additional state, county, or watershed approvals may be needed
